Hi! I’m Crystal the maker behind Collectively Crystal. By day I am a mother to two beautiful littles and a freelance graphic designer. In the evenings and weekends when I’m not chasing kiddos, I’m a self-taught metalsmither.

Collectively Crystal was born from a passion for jewelry that has evolved throughout the years. As a little girl, I became obsessed with friendship bracelets and creating ones with intricate patterns. My first taste of metalsmithing came several years later in high school where I was able to take two classes on the art. We’ll say, the rest is history!

In the fall of 2022, after a loss in our family, I made the plunge and invested in metalsmithing supplies as I realized there is no better time to start than now. From there I began my journey back to the art I cultivated a deep love with so long ago and found healing along the way.
